WHY KAREX

What a Well-Mapped Process Looks Like

Senior teams who have studied the terrain beforehand navigate their advisor conversations more productively — and spend less time reorienting at each stage.

Structured Programme Sequence

Each programme follows a deliberate sequence — from foundational concepts through to operational readiness — so participants develop a coherent mental map rather than isolated fragments.

Tangible Written Outputs

Workshop and consulting participants leave with written documents — reference handbooks, reflection logs, or readiness plans — suitable for internal use and as context for advisor discussions.

Informational — Not Advisory

Karex programmes are positioned strictly as general awareness and operational consulting material, not as regulated financial, legal, or investment advisory services.

Senior-Team Appropriate Format

Content and pacing are calibrated for experienced managers, not entry-level staff. Discussion draws on realistic operational scenarios and field-tested process patterns.

Malaysia-Based, KLCC Context

Operating from Menara 3 Petronas, Karex draws on the corporate and regulatory context of Malaysian and regional capital markets, making programme content directly relevant to local senior teams.

Confidential Engagement

Workshop and consulting participants work within a contained group environment. Karex maintains programme content and participant interactions with standard professional discretion.

FIELD NOTES — FREQUENTLY ASKED

Common Questions

Straightforward answers about how Karex programmes are structured and who they are suited for.

Who are these programmes designed for?
The online course and workshop are designed for senior managers, finance directors, and corporate strategy personnel who want to understand what a typical M&A process looks like before they are involved in one. The consulting engagement is suited to leadership teams preparing the internal environment of their organisation for a potential transaction. Participants do not require prior M&A involvement.
Is this a regulated financial or legal advisory service?
No. Karex programmes are provided strictly as informational educational materials, document templates, B2B operational consulting, and general awareness programmes. They do not constitute financial advisory, legal advisory, investment advisory, or regulated corporate finance services. Participants are encouraged to engage their qualified advisors for any specific transaction.
How long does each programme take?
The online course is self-paced; most participants work through the seven modules over two to four weeks. The senior team workshop runs over two full days, typically on-site at the participant organisation's premises. The consulting engagement spans approximately twelve weeks from initial briefing through to delivery of the written readiness plan.
What documents or outputs are produced?
The online course includes module materials and a terminology glossary. The workshop produces a written internal reference handbook and a personal reflection log per participant. The consulting engagement produces a written readiness plan covering internal data organisation, a document inventory, integration-planning frameworks, and a stakeholder communication calendar.
Can the workshop be held at our premises?
Yes. The two-day workshop is designed to be delivered on-site at the participant organisation. Karex coordinates logistics with the relevant contact ahead of the scheduled dates. Kuala Lumpur and Selangor venues are standard; engagements in other regions are assessed on enquiry.
How are fees structured and what is included?
The online course is priced at RM 700 per participant. The senior team workshop is RM 3,200 for the group engagement of up to twelve participants. The consulting engagement is RM 4,500, covering the full twelve-week scope and the written readiness plan. All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit and are subject to applicable taxes. Payment terms are confirmed upon engagement.
