Methodology · Overview

How the Karex Programme Structure Works

Each Karex programme follows a consistent framework: we begin from the structural shape of a typical M&A process, then move through the operational layers — preparation, information organisation, integration planning, and post-deal administration. Participants are guided through common patterns and terminology without receiving transaction-specific advice.

The three programmes are designed for different levels of depth and group context. A single participant working through the foundations online course will cover the same core terrain as a senior team in the two-day workshop — but the workshop adds collaborative reflection, group output, and a personal reference handbook.

The consulting engagement extends the same framework into a twelve-week operational preparation process, resulting in documented scaffolding that teams and their qualified advisors can work from directly.

Phase 01

Preparation & Information Organisation

Understanding how organisations typically prepare documentation, structure internal data, and organise information rooms ahead of an M&A process.

Phase 02

Structuring & Integration Planning

Examining how deal structures are typically framed and how integration planning is organised during and after the principal negotiation phase.

Phase 03

Post-Deal Administration & Communication

Reviewing stakeholder communication patterns, administrative processes, and the documentation typically required in the period after deal completion.
